I want to share some important new information about Chris and the details surrounding his death. These are important to read, as the education can help beyond Chris’s story. My sincere thanks to Jon Krakauer and Ronald Hamilton for their research and work, and also to Adam Read. Every time more truth is revealed, there becomes less noise to muddle through.

Late spring and early summer were loaded with corporate keynotes and educational visits for graduation ceremonies and baccalaureate addresses. My thanks go out to so many that sent in kind words after those events. Summer has been a whirlwind of travel, work on upcoming ventures and spending time with family. I look forward to fall lectures and continued work on an exciting project in development – more info to come! Thank you all for your support.

There is another POWER Conference for women coming up in January . Watch for details.
As I continue to raise awareness on the issues of domestic violence through my writing and lectures, my siblings and I will be choosing charities to highlight on our community facebook page, that aid women and children that are dealing with this crisis in their lives. Hello friends, some exciting news to share. I just received word that Virginia Weslyan College has assigned Into The Wild as the common text for the incoming Freshman class of the 2011 fall semester. There will also be a specific learning community involving further study into the book, combined with outdoor adventure experiences. I am certainly looking forward to working with this new set of students here within the beautiful nature Virginia has to offer!
