Jenna Land Free , Editor of Carine’s best selling memoir The Wild Truth.

I always expect to learn something from the authors I work with. What I didn’t expect was how much working with Carine would teach me about writing and editing. My role during our collaboration was similar to me being a professor of a master’s level class on book writing. Carine was an excellent student. I have never had a client with such a careful attention to detail. Also different about working with Carine, was that I had to substantiate edits that I had always made on instinct, the type that most clients would easily accept. At times, I was the teacher who was allowed to be swayed by the student. Digging deeply into how and why I made every tiny decision I did, made for a better book and a better collaboration. It also made me a better editor. –
